Verizon and Google announced today that Verizon customers can now subscribe to YouTube TV through Verizon. That makes it sound like you'll be able to add a YouTube TV subscription to your Verizon bill, cutting down on the number of bills you have to worry about paying each month.
"We were first in the world to bring commercial 5G to our customers and now another first on the content front as we offer our customers access to YouTube TV on whatever platform they choose," says Erin McPherson, Verizon's head of content strategy and acquisition.
In addition, Verizon says that it will offer "unique, high-value YouTube TV promotions" to its customers.
YouTube TV is priced at $49.99 per month and includes live television from more than 70 networks, including ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, ESPN, NBC Sports, TNT, USA, FX, HGTV, and more. A subscription also includes free unlimited DVR storage space, three simultaneous streams, and six accounts for your household, each with its own login and personalized DVR.
