Verizon has activated its 5G service in 13 NFL stadiums across the country to celebrate the kickoff of the 2019-2020 NFL season. These include CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, NRG Stadium in Houston, and Soldier Field in Chicago. Verizon says it plans to expand to more stadiums throughout the year.
Here are the 13 stadiums where Verizon 5G can currently be found:
Verizon says that its 5G service is concentrated in "parts of the seating areas" of these stadiums but could also be available in other spots in and around the stadiums.
Outside of those 13 NFL stadiums, Verizon's 5G network is available in 10 U.S. cities: Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Providence, St. Paul, and Washington, D.C.
Verizon currently sells three phones with 5G built-in — the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, and LG V50 ThinQ 5G — and it also sells the Moto Z4, which you can add 5G to using the 5G Moto Mod add-on.
