GOOD SERVICE

Posted on: May 22nd, 2007 by J BL

The good: Cheapest Plans availabe, Phone selection good, customer serviceThe bad: only decent receptionSummary: I switched to this company from U.S. Cellular. Ntelos has way better plans, and cheaper than any other company in the area. I get about the same service, maybe 1 bar less. Couple dropped calls more (get them with any provider in the area). Customer service is great

Wish I hadn't changed.

The good: Neat phoneThe bad: Poor receptionSummary: Coverage is not nearly as good as my previous carrier. Nearly all the places I use a cell phone it doesn't work. I have enough signal to not have a "no signal" but not enough to make a call. Certaintly not "World Class Service". And of course I pay the same as those that do have service.

Awesome customer service and coverage

Posted on: January 15th, 2007 by Amy Gibson

Everytime i call into NTelos customer service I am treated like a brand new customer. I love the one-on-one that i get with the company. I have been with several other companies and no other can compare. I love the unlimited minutes and text messaging that I cant get anywhere else. Highly recommend to all!

The Ballot's Out

Posted on: September 6th, 2006 by Michael Stephens

The good: Um...The bad: If there's never any roaming, why do I have a "No Service" signal anywhere in my city?Summary: I was a former Alltel customer who really debated myself at the counter when the dealer sold me on a NTelos promotion. I regret it now. NTelos has a lot to prove with its coverage and signal. I never roamed with Alltel, even after relocating 600 miles away; now I have no service two miles out of the city.

Am I roaming now?

Posted on: January 25th, 2006 by Lynn Smith

The good: Excellent rates. The bad: Flukey service.Summary: Strangest thing - I seriously can stand at the corner of the front yard and be in my home range. But in the driveway, I'm in roaming! Other than that, NTelos service has been about par with the other two cell phone services I've used, but recently I've noticed a decline. Apparently, towers are being taken out of service in the roaming areas and are not being replaced. This is causing calls not to be received and voice mail not being forwarded until I'm back in my home range.
