Beast among the rest

Posted on: March 13th, 2015 by ianbertrafal

I have decided to purchase this phone because of its weird but unique design. I wanted to be different from the crowd. I was really amazed when i tried to explore this phone. This is really the best from both worlds. I'm into retailing. Most of the time, i uses excel word powerpoint and pdf for new designs that forwarded to me by hundreds of my shoes supplier. And this phone is my buddy. It can do whatever I want. Apps? I didnt feel that there's something missing. Blackberry app developers have provided the bb storefront a alternative for snapchat, facebook messenger and vine and even our preloved instagram. I will gonna recommend this powerpacked gadget for everybody. Not just for power professionals, but for everyone who wanted to make their work done so easily.

BB got it right, finally!

Posted on: November 30th, 2014 by columdonnelly

I think our Canadian friends just got it right: the right size, the right battery life, the right keyboard for power users. And let me mention the unique shape, standing light years away form any competitors, and fitting the same pockets my passport does. And BB10 is focused on getting things done, without messing around with swipes, rotations or whatsoever. Apps Store and marketing might get better in the near future, at least I hope they will :-P Still, in order to keep up with Apple's ecosystem, I still carry an iPhone 5S, which is still a great device.

Is Phone Dog Afraid of the Passport

Posted on: November 26th, 2014 by avw4u

Just from looking at the specs on the Phone Dog site, it's rather notable that the Passport is listed under the 4+ screen size phones, when it is a 4.5 sized screen. Why is that? For one thing, that would make it difficult to actually find the Passport on the site and misguide that the Passport is not the size you might be looking for. And as your "Expert" Reviews do not rate it among the top 10 best handsets, even in the face of consumer reviews keeping it in the top five week in and out, with almost perfect reviews, how you (mis)characterize and mask the Passport is a bit suspect, Phone Dog... Are you guys afraid of the Passport for some reason? The fact that it does handsprings over competition battery life and is quite likely going to make redundant, laptops, phablets, tablets, desktops, with the highly effective Blend, I could see fear being a very real reaction. Simply said, if you are remotely interested in the Passport, read consumer reviews, take experts advice with a grain of salt and give it a try. It fits right in your pocket like a any Passport would! Note: It's coming out in Red November 28th, White on the 1st and is specially priced for Black Friday. If you are an Iphone user and ready for a switch, get a Passport and up to $550 for your Iphone. Do it! You won't be disappointed!

The BlackBerry Passport - After 1 Month of Usage

Posted on: November 24th, 2014 by dustin.tennant

I have used the BlackBerry Passport for 30 days now and I am in love with it. I was a former iPhone user and I switched after trying my friends Passport and I am glad I did. The form factor takes a day or two to get used to it, but once that occurs, you do really well with it. The keyboard is really nice. I forgot how nice it is to use a real keyboard and how accurate it is. The battery is also out of this world. Up to 2 days on one charge.... Good job BlackBerry...thanks for getting back into the game.

Simply The Best

Posted on: November 23rd, 2014 by shawn.burk.73

A truly new experience that will have you cringe going back to normal shaped phones on the market. Loaded with 10.3, this is a dream come true for anyone who like to gets things done. The design, the build, the ease of use, Blackberry Blend at your fingertips, world's first touch sensitive keyboard, flick to type, BlackBerry Hub etc...etc... People need to wake up to BlackBerry's new operating system. Honestly, this is a entirely new way to multi-task above anything ever created before.

Excellent for productivity; I watch movies on my tablet!

Posted on: November 9th, 2014 by Sam Iam

I have many screens for watching youTube, honestly. I'f I'm watching videos on my phone it's an emergency, and I'll live with the 1:1 format for an episode or two of Entourage. You will not find a hundred-million apps or whatever for Passport, but all the basic ones are there, most natively and if not (Netflix, Spotify) they can be found on the Amazon app store. I find I have hundreds more apps than I really actually use anyway .... That said, I wouldn't recommend the Passport for a teenager or my mom. As Blackberry says, it's thoughtfully designed to get things done. Oddly the reviewer does not mention or seem to use the touchpad keyboard; this is really an innovation that enables an entirely new way of interacting with the device. Same for Blackberry Blend: Which mirrors the BlackBerry on any device (ios and android tablets; OSX or windows computers ...). This is a super cool technology new to the BlackBerry Passport and seems worthy of mentioning!
