Firefly phone service

Posted on: August 22nd, 2008 by Christine sherwoood

The good: It's small but has all the cool stuff as a "real cell phone"The bad: Too many programming problems. They can't fix problems in a day, it takes weeks.Summary: I purchased this phone for our daughter. There was a computer clitch with their program. We have been waiting 30 days for them to fix it, and they still havent'. Customer service can never give us any answers other then "sorry for the inconvence". I would never reccommend this phone or the service to any of our firends.

The good: nice ring tones and retro styleThe bad: not good out in subdivisionsSummary: I enjoy the color and vibrance of the phone. Its different and very retro but I think I would prefer if its preformance was a little better near my home.

GREAT PHONE FOR KIDS

Posted on: June 4th, 2006 by Hope Armstrong

The good: Phone can only call & recieve calls from numbers that PARENTS progam in (all PIN protected). Smaller than normal phones so easier for little hands. The bad: noneSummary: We bought this phone for our daughter on her 8th birthday, as she was always using mine to cal her friends. And it has been wonderful! we made her sign a "contract" to use only a certain amount of anytime minutes. She has only used to this date about 30 anytime a month. She calls when she is out with my mom even to let me know where she is going, lol. I would never get her a normal cell at this age, but the fact that it can only send & recieve calls from numbers that I put in is GREAT! I chose the PIN number and only I can change it. I recommend this phone to any parent that wants to get their pre-teen one.

I am glad I got this phone for my son

Posted on: March 31st, 2006 by Tracey Holley-Smith

Knowing that my son is able to contact us at any time is wonderful. The firefly is so convenient for younger children and should make every parent feel safe knowing their child has one.
