Following its predecessors’ footsteps, the HTC Desire 826 comes as a spectacular device to look out for. Announced earlier at the CES 2015, the smartphone is slated for a quarter one release this year. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch display screen with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. Additionally, the Desire 826 is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM. Apart from this, the device comes with 16GB built-in storage capacity to store important files and data on the phone. With its microSD card slot, users may be able to expand the memory of the phone by up to 128GB. The Desire 826 also comes with a couple of cameras—a 13MP rear-facing camera and a 4MP front-facing secondary camera. The back camera comes complete with features such as Geo-tagging, autofocus, touch focus, LED flash, simultaneous HD video and image recording, face detection, and HDR. It is built with sensors for accelerator, compass, and proximity. With its non-removable Li-Po 2600 mAh battery, the phone is able to get a sturdy and reliable battery life. Typical to past models under the HTC Desire name, the Desire 826 comes with a variety of colors to choose from.
