I have owned the g5 for a year and a half. I was super excited about the features, specifically with the camera. However, 3 months in the problems began. I had to send my phone back to have the entire insides replaced as it randomly froze, turned off and never turned on again. After getting it back (having lost all photos and apps) it was like new again. New problems arose! I only receive about 50% of text messages, forcing me to depend on whatsapp for communication. The power button on the back of the phone stopped working, making it critical that I never allow my phone to turn off. Which occurred twice and thankfully I read of a few tricks to get it back on. The next problem to occur was the camera would no lo ger focus, unless it was on the wideshot feature. Zooming in would cause it to go fuzzy immediately. Next, when having phone convesations, I was unable to hang up. Despite the phone recognizing my touch on the "end call" button, it would not register and the conversation wpuld remain open for up to another minute. All in all, this phone has been a nightmare for me. I will never purchase LG again.
