The LG TM 510 is the first flip type phone to sport an external display that serves as caller ID. The main screen comes with EL backlight, aqua-blue backlight, 5 lines of text, and a resolution of 128 x 64 pixels. The phone has dimensions measuring 3.36 x 1.9 x 1.14 inches. Its weight is 4.23 oz., which makes the TM 510 a portable device. Its keyboard is made up of the standard T9 predictive text entry. The TM 510 has a phonebook capacity of up to 199 numbers and may contain up to 5 numbers per entry. While it may resemble the Sprint PCS TouchPoint 1100 (LP SP 510) unit, there are some features that have been added onto the TM 510 to make it a different phone. Compared to the former, the TM 510 is equipped with tri-mode coverage, voice-calling, and a couple of soft keys. Not to mention, the TM 510 is equipped with PIM feature, ringer ID, alarm, calculator, calendar, voice memo, voice activated dialing, voice recording, and internet browsing capabilities. The phone comes with a removable 950 mAh Li-Ion battery that enables use up to 3.7 hours of talk time and up to 110 hours in stand-by mode.
