Good, simple to use phone

Posted on: October 13th, 2008 by Emily Bob

The good: Simple, fits in a pocket, press just one button to get to; texting, speaker phone, sounds, voice-dial. Strong vibrateThe bad: No camera, small screen, very loud vibrate, kind of thick but still small.Summary: Pretty good cell phone if what you are looking for is simplicity and usability.

So-so at best

Posted on: January 29th, 2007 by Ray Wulfe

The good: Nice lookingThe bad: Dropped calls, confusing display.Summary: This phone was free with my plan, and worth every penny! For months after alltel's acquisition of Cellular One, this thing performed horribly. I could call my wife's phone with mine and be sitting next to her on the couch and the call would go directly to voicemail.NOW the roaming display is completely unreliable. I am going to have a big fight with alltel because they told me months ago that if the roaming symbol was FLASHING that it wasn't actually roaming, only "out of my home area" and that if the roaming symbol was SOLID, it was roaming.Well, guess what? It was flashing and I was roaming. A hundred dollars in roaming charges.

lg vx 3200

Posted on: January 23rd, 2007 by Jennifer Collazo

The good: noneThe bad: dropped calls, battery will not charge,2nd phone in less than 1 yr, blue screen Summary: Phone STINKS. This is my 2nd phone in 6 months, the phone doesn't charge, says charging complete but when you take off charger it's dead. blue screen and turns on and off by itself, I don't recommend this phone for anyone.I've had the new one 3 weeks and same problems. They charge me 10 dollars for warranty exchange, now don't want to give me a different phone. I paid $129.00 for POS.. My service provider Metro PCS no longer carries it

The good: Battery standby is a week. Gets pretty good reception. The bad: Not too many features, but it was free with my plan.Summary: It's a basic phone that calls people, and does a few other things like text message. No games, just functionality.

The good: It's works. The bad: No 3-way callingSummary: This phone doesn't have a feature to make 3-way calls and I just figured out how to put it on vibrate; this should have been added to the quick refererence guide.

Don't Waste Your Money

Posted on: November 4th, 2006 by Lyndsie Hargrove

The good: Small, Speaker phoneThe bad: No battery life, no outside screen to see who's calling, text messaging mailboxes mess up time and dates recieved and randomly tells you new voice message. Cant stand this phone. Ear piece gets really hot when on the phone and charging. This phone makes you feel uncomfortable.Summary: Overall, this phone is no good. Its garbage. Texting sucks because i cannot start the conversation you can only reply to one people send you. Battery sucks real hard. just take my advice an save your money.

Another reason not to own a cell phone.

Posted on: October 19th, 2006 by e peterson

The good: One of our 3200s has been kicked, dropped down the stairs, and believe it or not dropped into the toilet. It still works, though even a fully-charged battery dies in the middle of a ten-minute conversation. The bad: Our other 3200 has never been kicked or dropped and yet it still dies FIVE minutes into a conversation.Summary: We got two of these phones with high hopes. Neither of them have performed well. Dropped calls and random power-offs are common even after a full-night's charging and within sight of a cell tower. The display has had no problems, but that's the only thing that's worked consistently.

Spotty service

Posted on: October 13th, 2006 by Constantine Benson

The good: This phone is small offers enough features for the average user. It's a flip phone which is the type I prefer. The bad: This is the second one, first one was replaced because of a problem now this one has very spotty reception, my wife has an old LG and gets reception everywhere but sometimes I can be right beside her and won't get any reception. I attempted to have it replaced and repaired but LG and Verizon refuse to stand behind it. I would not recommend it.Summary: Get another phone this one is unreliable. This phone should have been under the 90 day warranty but instead of going by my warranty they went by some date code that is on the phone???
