Good and durable

Posted on: September 6th, 2009 by Jake McGennis

The good: Battery life, camera, durable, good for textingThe bad: Small screen, gets hot, bulkySummary: I have had this phone for more than 3 years with Verizon. It's not an iPhone, but still okay. I've dropped it several times, picked it up, and used it without it even getting a scratch. The camera is good, too, but after awhile the lens can get scratched, and glare gets worse over time. Overall, though, it's a good, durable phone, and more than you expect for the price.

Car Kit Error

Posted on: August 8th, 2007 by Cell Phone user

Nice phone until now. Volume will not remain in silent mode after receiving a call. Next call will ring at full volume. Error message is un supported. Don't expect to find troubleshooting information online or in the user manual.

VX-5200 Review

Posted on: October 5th, 2006 by shauna noland

The good: Small and compact. Very durable and well made. The bad: gets hot when used after a while. Sometimes calls get booted after long time of use.Summary: I have this phone and it is great as far as it goes for storing and whatever. The draw back though is that the calls seem to get droped after so long and the phone gets hot as well. Hard to find service as well in many places unlsess outside.

Bath in the Toilet

Posted on: September 26th, 2006 by Anonymous

Phone still works after being dropped in the toilet. Carrier said we would have to get a new phone, but we just let it dry for about a week and it works fine. The screen still looks the same. I have also dropped my phone many times and it still works good.

VX5200 Review

Posted on: August 26th, 2006 by Michael Stokes

The good: Cheap, camera, can make calls, two color screens, feels sturdyThe bad: Horrible voice quality, very poor picture quality, lacking in featuresSummary: If you're looking for a phone that can make phone calls, text message, and take pictures for little or no money, than this phone fits the bill. However, you get what you pay for in the quality of sound from the ear speaker. Oftentimes it is impossible to understand a single word being said.

Quality Phone

Posted on: August 23rd, 2006 by Christa Boyd

The good: Easy-to-use interface, crisp LCD screens, voice-dial feature, decent camera, average battery life. The bad: Poor volume control--I often find it hard to hear the person on the other end of the line with the volume set on highSummary: A solid offering from LG and not a disappointment by any means, but I would have liked to see the sound tweaked a bit more. All in all, I would definitely recommend this phone to a friend.

Love my LG!

Posted on: August 22nd, 2006 by Lori Alderman

The good: The pictures are great considering it's a phone! Long life battery is awesome. Easy to use commands and menu functions. Best of all CLEAR calls! The bad: NoneSummary: I was a little worried about this phone because it was the one that was "free" with my plan. But those fears were put to rest once I started using it. It holds it's own against the higher end phones. I would definitely pick this phone again.
