E815 "Exceptional even in 2010"

Posted on: February 17th, 2010 by Peter Buckner

The good: Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA)The bad: None.Summary: I purchase the e815 phone new in 2005 from verizon wireless and I can honestly say I have had no problems with the phone. I have been a verizon wireless customer since June 2000 and I have no intentions on changing carriers.

Great Phone!!!!

Posted on: November 27th, 2006 by Viral Shah

The good: Video, 1.4 Megapixel camera, zoom, flash (bright), lots of security features. big bright screen, very customizable menus, Micro SD card compatible (put MP3s on it and listen to it), BLUETOOTH works veryyyyyy greatThe bad: little big/heavy, if you're used to other small/tiny phone. Summary: This is a great phone. Unfortunately I have Verizon Wireless, so it restricts USB file transfer and Bluetooth file transfer capabilities. I know there are lots of hacks out there, but I haven't tried any personally. It's a great phone. soft and very efficient keypad. Bright lights and bright screen. Flash is very bright, you can practically use it as a flashlight.Phone is very good with security/lock down of keys/certain features. So very customizable. Even menus, arrow keys are customizable as well.Bluetooth works great with my motorola bluetooth headset. No problems whatsoever.I'd give it 9.0/10

The good: Large easy to use keypad, bright and vivid displayThe bad: Oversized antenna bulky and protruding, Vibrate function is minimal.Summary: This cellphone is one of the best available phones for ease of use and reception that I have ever owned. The keypad is raised and is quite easy to navigate for large hands as well as small. The phone feels durable and well made and has excellent and solid reception.

Versatile, High-Tech, and Comfortable

Posted on: September 3rd, 2006 by Kerry Labay

The good: This is everything that I needed in a phone. Text messaging, videos, photos, internet, etc. The battery is just something else. I've gone as long as 2 weeks before needing to charge my phone. Of course with more use and internet use, I've needed to charge it as early, but the battery length is tremendous. Screen is bright, crisp and clear. The bad: I haven't found any Cons with this phone.Summary: Overall this is by far the best cell phone that I've ever had over the last ten years. The screen display, long battery life, camera and photo cababilities make this a great buy. It's sleek and small but serves it's purpose well. It's a great model.

Very good phone

Posted on: August 23rd, 2006 by David Yans

The good: Very powerful camera with a 4x digital zoom, good listening quality and battery stays charged for a long time. Also, the screen is bright and easy to read and the buttons are nice. The bad: The phone is a little on the bulky side and the ringer is way too loud even on the quietest setting.Summary: I have had this phone for three months and have been amazed at how long the battery has lasted on this phone. The screen is also quite easy to read and I like the hearing quality that it has too. I used the internet feature of the phone for the first month but canceled it since I would have had to start paying for it. While I used the internet, I found the connection to be slower than I was expecting but good if all you wanted to do was check scores or the weather.

Best Motorola I have ever used

Posted on: August 23rd, 2006 by Tamer Gouda

The good: Sleek, compact, large internal memory, transflash slot, great sound quailtyThe bad: poor camera phone pics and phone does freeze upSummary: Great Motorola phone, best I have ever used. I have been using Motorolas for a long time. From the V60, to the T720, and now the E815. Each generation of phone keeps getting better. First the phone looks great. The phone has excellent battery life. I usually can go two days without charging. Sound quality is excellent. Phone can play mp3 ringtones and allows you to truely customize your phone. The phone also has plenty of room to store your mp3 ringtones and sound clips. Also, holds a large amount of pics. But, the only true negative aspect of the phone is its poor camera quailty. Granted this is a camera phone, but I have used LG camera phones and their pics are far more superior than Motorola. But other than the poor pic quaility and the phone freezing up, this is a great phone that I highly recommend.

So easy to use

Posted on: August 22nd, 2006 by J Bullock

The good: Stylish, easy to use, not too small, clear, good battery lifeThe bad: car charger is touchy, doesn't always plug in well, short cord, can't talk and drive at the same time very well.Summary: Finally after 4 years I upgraded my phone, I chose this one, I found it easy to use, not so small you felt like you were talking into nothing, great range even with my service, easy to program, I like the flip idea, covers the buttons so your phone just doesn't call someone from your purse
