Great when it wants to work

Posted on: November 1st, 2006 by Chance Terry

The good: Great reception, Picks up where other phones won't, Appearance, Ease of useThe bad: Unreliable, freezes up, charging problems, Annoying ticking sound in background. Flip isn't made as well as it could be.Summary: I wouldn't recommend this phone. This is my second in less than a year, and they have both had problems. This would be a great phone if it did what it was susposed to most of the time. Unlike the other reviewers battery life on mine seems pretty good.

battery life stinks!!!

Posted on: October 26th, 2006 by tammy akers

The good: This phone is compact, easy to read, although the display could be bigger, it is at least color! I like the versatility of the flip phone! The bad: The battery is awful on this model! Not only does it not hold charge for any length of time whatsoever! Had to charge half way through each day and all night, then even without using it, the battery would go dead! Summary: The overall experience with the phone is wonderful, but the only drawback is the battery! If it weren't for the battery dying so quickly I would recommend this phone to anyone wanting versatility, convenience and size. But if you are someone who makes a lot of calls, and uses your phone for a lot of text messages, don't buy this one!!!

The good: Easy to use, stylish, nice features, and rugged. The bad: The battery life is shorter than other cell phones we have used.Summary: We have used this new phone for four months now, and the only draw back we find is the short battery life. It has good reception and is easy to use.

V262

The good: Easy use.Good graphics.I like the voice activatation.Interchangable colors. Sounds are clear. The bad: Vibration needs to be stronger.Summary: I have found this phone very easy to use. I like the fact that I don't have to dial the number I am calling. I simply push one button and tell my phone who or what number I want to call and it does it for me. I would like the vibration to be stronger. I have missed some calls when on vibrate.I get good reception with this phone.

Posted on: October 10th, 2006 by Joanne Harrison

The good: above average reception, 500 number storage with quick dial featureThe bad: size is small making it easier to loseSummary: This is a great phone for the money with a lot of features including massive number storage, interent email, picture taking, photo sharing, text messaging and so much more. Easy to use and yes, it even makes and receives telephone calls. An overall great value paired with outstanding performance.

I recommend the Motorola V260 / V262

Posted on: September 29th, 2006 by Anonymous

The good: Duralble, good reception, clear voices, useful options. Speaker phone works fine nice and loud! External caller Id is very handy. The bad: Battery life could be a little better. Pull out antenna is flimsy but I have not had any trouble with it, I am just very careful with it. Small screen.Summary: This is a pretty decent phone. Not fancy, but very useful. One you can use for a long time. I love the sound because peoples voices don't sound like there comeing from a tin can! My speaker phone is very handy and works great. My husband and I both use our cell phone alarm clock options also.

I dont think it's that great

Posted on: September 18th, 2006 by Lindsay Wells

The good: It's cute, and small, and the colors on the screen are nice. The bad: No camera, battery life isn't the greatest.Summary: Unfortunately, I'm on my third one of these. I had one of the originals which had to be replaced becuase of bad speaker soddering. The second just started randomly shutting itself off or claiming it had no signal when I was surrounded by towers. I'm now on my third and cannot wait for my plan to be up so I can get rid of it!
