Samsung Galaxy S8

Posted on: June 28th, 2018 by Alberta Canada

I wanted to write and say how disappointed I am in Samsungs latest update. I am constantly being bombarded with Ad popups all over my phone. I thought it was from a game I downloaded but come to find out from other people with the same problem. This is absolutely NOT ok for your company to have done. It's not enough that every app we download we get all these stupid ad popups now our phone OS has to have them too? If this is not corrected and removed I will be changing cell phones. I will no longer be using Samsung which is to bad I love this phone but I hate the ads...remove the ads or lose not only me but thousands more.

The ability to send in data from The monthly, anonymous phone activity to the samsong team. Who helps adapt my phone to best help my daily life, is truly helpful. It adapts to your daily activities and helps you in small unexpected ways, so thankyou. In a day, you bettered my life

Samsung Note 8

Posted on: May 5th, 2018 by OvyPotter

I received the Note 8 after 4 faulty S9+. At first I thought they were basically the same but after 4 days they are a world apart. When watching Videos the sound quality is poor. After fitting a screen protector the screen is very difficult to use and there isn't an option to increase the sensitivity. The iris function never works and the pen is an unnecessary gimmic. I have been a loyal Samsung customer since the Galaxy S3 and will be moving away from them. It is also half the storage of a S9+. The camera seems good and the screen is nice. It also makes calls with no issue.

Hate my Samsung S8 with Edge!!!!!!

Posted on: April 28th, 2018 by Biogrrl

Maybe it is the edge, maybe it is the sensitivity...but the phone, in SO many of the apps....mostly Maps...keeps changing with out me even wanting. Turns ON when I want OFF, Turns OFF when I sent me in opposite direction mid-journey. I think the EDGE picks up any of the slightest touch!! But then won't pick up a direct touch!!! So many times i have wanted to throw into the ocean. Pictures are great. Sound...speaking and hearing over phone is fair. BIXBY..interference is INTOLERABLE. With little option to KILL, I take out my frustrations on the phone. Contacts and all the LINKING is so chaotic and not streamlined ..AND TOO MANY USELESS APPS are preloaded! Good battery, storage....I can not change it in fast enough!! After 8 months, I have decided life is too short to feel so frustrated with my phone. I had a Samsung S6 prior to this and LOVED it. So Sad.

Horrible

Posted on: April 17th, 2018 by Chanta

Horrible phone. This is my third S8, not to mention the most recent one I received last Friday did the same thing the last two did and I have had the phone no long then 5month. They all shut off and never power back on. It wouldn't take any charge not even wireless. I missed work four days because I wait until they shipped me another one. I use the phone for work. Not to mention I wasted almost 100 dollars on the liquid screen protector because I put them on all the phones and Verizon wouldn't even reimburse me for those protector that wasn't my fault. Lets what new one does they I got today.

Galaxy s8 active. .

Posted on: April 5th, 2018 by Justin Stookey

So you hear the name active being in a phone name and automatically you assume "wow this phone must be able to take a beating. I was hooked. At first it was great. Everything worked fine, only modification was eliminating the not so saught after bixby. Im not new to the galaxy phones iv had them since the galaxy s3. Iv had this phone for about 4 months. If you actually live an active lifestyle dont waste your time getting the galaxy s8 active. The second any dust or depris get on the charging port your phone will take a wopping 19hr to charge. I mean WTF even iPhone doesny have issues like that. Samsung. Im very dissappointed it seems you guys just throw shit together now not testing anything. Seriously why not just put a protecting door on the port, especially if you claim to be water resisitant but the second you get a drop on it it wont even let you charge. So keep that in mind when your trying to blow it all out just to allow your phone to charge and suddenly you get a message saying sorry cant charge a phone, bc of moisture. Just say the phone isnt water proof stop lieing, not to mention there is already a galaxy s9 out. Not even 1 year later. I for one am actually going to switch and drop the galaxy life for good. Thanks samsung for making a shitty phone

Galaxy 8+,

Posted on: March 29th, 2018 by Fairfax Station

I had a samsung Galaxy 7 and I loved it. I absolutely hate the 8+; Samsung did away with the "back" key and really has left no quicker way to retreat quickly from a butt call or get out of camera mode when you really did want to use the camera. It is simply not as intuitively obvious as was the 7. I hope it will get better because if it does not I will switch an "I" PHONE!

Samsung s8 Battery Life!!

Posted on: March 27th, 2018 by Hazard85

I find myself charging it twice a day, compared to my old edge 7, I much prefer the edge 7 over battery life. No update on the Areo 8.0 in the UK either which also sucks. Phone is a good all round phone but canny help dis the phone for the battery life. Should be able to cut out the apps we don't use for life of battery, them just being there I think kills it. For the expensive of the phone they should have sorted battery life, they put 3600 in the edge but failed to do the seem in the s8, phones are meant to be better than the old phones are they not? Time to get with the time Samsung, more battery power please!!!
