Pathetic phone. Super Pathetic customer service. Don't buy

Very rude and poor customer service. Irritating people. Buy if you have sold your self-esteem and have no respect.

Not all it's cracked up to be - Galaxy s8

Posted on: September 20th, 2017 by genag

I have been a samsung user my whole life ( well since they released the first galaxy) and have stuck by them and upgraded to pretty much every model they have released. Having just upgraded from the Samsung s7 to the s8 i am going to give my honest opinion on the phone. Lets get the good bits out of the way first - Camera's are good, always have been and always will be, the addition of new filters and ease of using features on the camera is welcomed. The iris scanner is good, especially if you are in the gym etc and need to unlock your phone quickly. It has good sound and music production from its speakers. The display is amazing and crystal clear, great for videos and games if you like that sort of thing. The big screen is good and the phone looks and feels alot slicker and more expensive than previous models. The not so good bits - Bixby - what a horrendous invention this is, it dosnt understand the English Language for the UK, and there isnt any option to change it from US, meaning it dosnt recognise contact names, or words like whatsapp, it constantly had "connection" problems and cannot perform the tasks at hand, google and S voice were much more competent, you can teach bixby but that kind of defeats the object, it needs real improvement if samsung want to rival siri, it has its own button as well which isn't warranted, it dosnt wake up with the commands set by voice and it generally isnt very quick at all. Battery Life - The battery life on my brand new device isnt nearly as good as my 18 months old s7, so the claim it lasts as long as you do - for me isn't warranted. A charge will last about 10 hours with very minimal use. Design - its a nice design, but dosn't feel particularly solid or well built and also feels like if you dropped it your screen would be obliterated. its fairly quick to use in general however does have the usual samsung glitches after update where it takes about a minuet for everything to appear back on your screen. The finger print scanner - lord only knows why they put it on the back of the phone right next to the camera but they did, meaning its so difficult to get your finger positioned on it properly and quickly that its not even worth having it activated, then your getting "clean your camera lense" message constantly because you have got finger prints all over it. All in all, its a nice phone and i am pleased with it for the usage that i require, however if i was an avid gamer, tv watcher or the like, then i think the battery life would be a massive downfall for me. I like to set reminders and use voice activation whilst im driving which i cannot do with this phone because of the installation of bixby (which dosnt support navigation like google did) I would recommend it but only if you are looking for a general use phone.

My clients could not hear me 3 phones later , it would not talk and text .It has major issues . I switched to Moto Z2 Force and love it . it is literally 10 times better than samsung S8. Do not waste your time with phone .

Galaxy s8

Posted on: September 7th, 2017 by Nurken

I was used to to use phones for 5 years. In 2006 i bought a not expensive smartphone and used it untill i bought htc desire hd in 2011. Which was unbreakable but got morally old in 2016. Both of these smartphones had never been cracked inspite of that i didnt put on a case and dropped them several times by accident! In contrast galaxy smartphones really disappointed me. In december 2016 i got galaxy s7 edge which was #1 in all ratings. But just 1 drop on rug in my appartment and screen got cracked. I fixed it for $270 in samsung center. Several months later it was stolen but its not company's fault its my mistake. However i really liked the display, sound, processor stuf and etc, and i thought that crack of the screen its just an accident. So i decided to get a new galaxy s8 which was advertised as the best smartphone currently. It was very beautiful and functionally is amazing but again just one slide from my hand when i was getting it out of my pocket - SCREEN IS DAMAGED AGAIN! I dont understand why Samsung makes sUch a great phone but so BRITTLE? I think it is enough expensive to install a really good glass. Why do u make GALAXY untrustable? In 6 months i had got two phones from samsung galaxy and both got cracked! This never happened to me. From my previous experience u can see that i am very gentle concerning phones. They had never benn cracked or smth else. If you put such a brittle glass then why do make edges made of glass?!these edge are useless. Moreoveer these phones are useless if u make them so brittle. Now i have to fix screen of my galaxy s8 for 200$. It is almost half price of the phone. After this i will never buy samsung products. I should have listened what my wife said. She said get an iphone because she had two galaxy phones and both of them got screen cracked very soon. But i am an android fan so i did not follow her advice. Now i regret. Galaxy s7 edge and galaxy s8 were my worst choices. I will never recommend anyone to buy samsung phones!

My last Samsung phone.

Posted on: September 5th, 2017 by Chad S

They took out ir blaster, put in curved screen that nobody wants and that activates crap you don't want opened every time you try to pick it up. They put Bixby on with it's own button and no way to disable or delete it and it opens every time you try to pick it up or use the phone. Speed isn't much better than my S6 I had last. If something doesn't change this will be my last Samsung. On the good side at least it's waterproof finally.

So-o disappointed...

Posted on: August 25th, 2017 by Judith

On Jun 16, 2017 I bought a Samsung Galaxy S8 on line for $664 and I bought it from SAMSUNG. It worked beautifully until last Saturday (8/19/2017). It went into Emergency Mode and I had to enter my pin number to use the phone. T-Mobile tried to fix it and today Samsung via their website on-line support tried to fix it. They tried for 1 1/2 hours and were not successful. I believe I bought a $664 LEMON. I wouldn't recommend it. I wish they'd offered to replace it. Take it from me, DON'T BUY A SAMSUNG GALAXY S8.

My S8

Posted on: August 15th, 2017 by Jai

This phone is beautiful, however it's no upgrade if you've been with Samsung for awhile. This phone isn't better than my note 5. Overpriced for certain. A slimmer design doesn't warrant this price tag. Every update Samsung manages to eliminate the cool features and keep the worse ones like Bixby. Keep the navigation bar color wheel and get rid of these boring pastel colors. This phone is on its way back to the store, not getting stuck with this price tag. Would recommend for someone who never had a decent phone. Samsung suckered me too, after the 7 nightmare I thought this phone would be fire. This note 8 better be super awesome. Overall great, pretty phone that does everything your old phone does.

used and iq shield on my brand new samsung s8 after waiting 24 hours i charged the phone (i thought) turns out it only charged 6 percent in 8 hours. the charge circle had a triangle and water drop on it. . called sprint samsung went to the tech service and all said water damage. their commercials show it dropped in a swimg pool and someone showering with the phone in hand .its a total piece of crap and totally not even water resistant. really bad choice if you work in the trades or vacation near any water. false advertising suit soon .BEWARE SPRINT bad customer service
