A900

Posted on: November 25th, 2007 by Chris Todorov

The good: EVDO makes downloading a snap on my laptopGreat camera and video capabilitiesTV and Movies are funClosed phone camera operationLarge screenThin and lightThe bad: The battery life freakin blowsLacks memorySummary: Well, i bought the phone about a year and half ago. It was great and lots of fun to start off with. First thing that i noticed is the extremely low battery life. It would not even last a day. Big change from my other samsung which lasted a good week standby. That aside another thing that comes short is the lack of memory. Take some pics and video and put 5 songs on there and you're out of memory. Guess thats why they made the web album. This phone has been bashed and landed on so many times yet the inside screen lacks even a scratch. The phone was a little hard to get used to in the begging but eventually got used to. Ive watched a couple movies on the phone which work really nice, even though they are not full screen. It is really nice to use as a modem with a laptop since you get blazing speeds with EVDO. Im not sure about the live TV. The games on it are rather nice especially the full 3D motorbike one. Overall, a great phone. Too bad it went through the wash one too many times. Looking forward to an HTC touch XD

Great Phone

The good: Execellent look, feel, and design. Very sleek and best razor on the market. The bad: Accessing the speakerphone. battery lifeSummary: The phone is great, it is durable and sleek. It is packed with all the function of any great phone, bluetooth, voice activation, 1.3 meg camera. The battery life is only like 3 hours talk time but, it charges quickly

Great Phone, Battery not too bad...

Posted on: September 26th, 2006 by Joseph Demastrie

The good: Great LookSolid ConstructionEasy to UseGreat SignalBluetoothMultimedia The bad: Battery LifeTrendySummary: I have had my A-900 for quite a while now and I think that this phone is great for those who like the thin style of the new phones, but without missing out on certain features. Even the new Katana phone does not have the number of features and multimedia capabilities that the A-900 Blade has.It is precisely this multimedia capability which limits the battery life. If you plan on using this cell phone for a lot of talking as well as using your multimedia functions almost non-stop then plan on investing into the car charger. This phone's battery life actually isn't bad if you aren't constantly using the internet while listening to music and talking to everyone you know all at once.

Great Design, Not so Great Battery Life

Posted on: September 21st, 2006 by Ross Dzurko

The good: Design is clever, Very SlimThe bad: BATTERY LIFE BATTERY LIFE BATTERY LIFESummary: This is a very well designed phone. I don't use my phone a whole lot yet the battery seems to die within the first 5 hours. I know they have an extended battery, but it is huge and defeats the purpose of buying a slim phone in the first place.

A Great Sumsung Phone

Posted on: August 30th, 2006 by Anonymous

The good: The phone has a very stylish design similar to the razor. It is very thin but durable. Camera phone takes very good pictures when well lit. The ability to play music is plus. Main display screen is excellent. Color is vibrant and very clear. The best screen i have seen so far. Great for surfing the internet. The bad: Low battery life. Battery lasts almost a whole day with normal use. However if you plan to get online for an extensive amount of time may only last a 2-3 hours. Clarity of the ear piece is decent, but could be better though. For text messaging, in T9 mode, it is not able to learn new words, which can be annoying if you do a lot of texting.Summary: Overall I really like this phone, the modern styling design gives it a cool factor. The first thing you see when you open up the phone is the awesome resolution of the screen. The camera phone takes very good pictures, and the ability to play music is a big plus. It has minor flaws here and there but overall I would recommend this phone.

Samsung A900

The good: thinlightlarge displayThe bad: battery life is really shortSummary: It's a great phone to show off to people. Everyone thinks its a RAZR but when you tell them it is like the RAZR but with 100 more features, it makes it even better.

Solid Phone

Posted on: August 5th, 2006 by Geoffrey Slovenski

The good: solid construction, many good features, good sound quality, large display, good camera. The bad: limited memory, battery lifeSummary: this is a solid phone that has many useful features. it took awhile to get used to how to navigate the menus and quickly access the features. The display is large and makes things easy to read. The camera is surprising good for a cell phone. If this phone had better battery life and more internal or the ability to add additional memory it would be unbeatable. Overall a very good phone and would recommend it to anyone.

Samsung A900

Posted on: August 5th, 2006 by Toan C

The good: It has a nice design and many cool features. The bad: The phone has a short battery life.Summary: The Samsung A900 looks great and has many cool features like a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and mp3 player. But the battery life is short and if you use the internet or the mp3 player the battery would run out even faster.
