SAMSUNG A920 - Good all around work horse

Posted on: November 27th, 2006 by Scott Talochin

The good: battery life, features, internet connectivityThe bad: signal strength in certain locals and long duration to take pictureSummary: I have had the A920 for about 6 months now and could not be more pleased with all the features. The high speed internet allows me to brwse teh web and I loaded opera mini to hit any sites that the internal browser would not load. Picture quality is great as is video. the only copmplaint is how long it takes to save picture once clicked. Try to take a picture of a cat and you will never get it, they will walk away before camera saves image. I have even watched movies on this phone and done the live TV. Battery lasts about a day with full use and I mean FULL use with standard battery. Great phone

Nifty little phone

Posted on: November 13th, 2006 by Tayo Faye

The good: Camera/camcorder/speakerphoneBuilt-in MP3 playerRemovable/upgradeable memoryAbility to customize different options/layouts/views/etcPretty sturdyThe bad: Battery life when using all the featuresNumber of options and features available can be a bit overwhelmingSummary: Simply put, I love this phone. It is the envy of most of my friends (which is always a plus!). It's easy to keep in your pocket, but also easy to drop (as I had to find out the hard way). But surprisingly, it is very sturdy, I have dropped the phone (on hard surfaces) about 2-3 times and it still looks nice and the features still work. My only real problem with it is the battery life, because it can get zapped pretty quickly, especially if you use you phone for more than just talking (and if that's really all you want a phone for, I would recommend that you look at other phones).Otherwise, I would give this phone a 8.5 out of 10

Samsung's A920

Posted on: October 17th, 2006 by Tina Bornheimer

The good: Wow, with Samsung A920 you can access the internet, download ringtones, wallpaper and games. Access to the pcs network, camera feature, play your music, battery holds up well too. Speaker phone, lots and lots of pros. The bad: Only con I can complain of is the reception where I live. It works great in some areas but there are a lot of places I go where the phone gets zero signals. Summary: The phone is great. I definitely recommend it. With all the features and great plan rates if you can find them makes this phone an absolute must have. Be careful if you get a plan that roaming is not included in... signals are limited in my area and may be in yours too.

"More Bang for you Buck"

Posted on: August 16th, 2006 by Kristopher Shook

The good: The phone is the right size, and easily palmed The controls are easy to work, and the phone pad buttons are raised and easy to push The menus are easy to navigate and use You can assign the launch pad (up, down, left, right) to whatever you want The phone has 24MB of internal memory It comes with a 32MB flash card, and the manual says the slot takes up to 512MB cards. I've read on other web sites that it takes up to 1GB cards with no problem The phone is basically an mp3The bad: The stereo speakers don't go that loud for ringers The provided headset earbuds won't say in my ears very well To get things off (and on) the memory card, you have to slip it into an SD adapter. I would have preferred a full size memory chip. The camera has an included USB cable that you can connect to a PC and the camera will become a modem. The fact that you can't use that same USB connection to access the storage on the memory card is ludicrous, and a very poor design flaw.Summary: Overall this phones gives you lots of features for a low price. It is one of the better phones I have owned and by far is the most funtional phone out there for a reasonable price.

My Samsung MM-A920 Review

Posted on: August 14th, 2006 by Patrick Chan

The good: Clear screen, durible, good sound. The bad: The phone gets pretty hot and battery life is average. The signal is not very strong with Sprint service.Summary: This is a pretty good media phone (if you have your charger). The expandable memory feature (Micro SD) is a huge plus with this phone. You can load videos and music into the phone with no problem. It has stereo sound because of the two speakers.

Samsung A920

Posted on: August 13th, 2006 by Anonymous

The good: Great outer screen, awesome mp3 player, cool designThe bad: Expensive, semi-hard to understandSummary: I think this is a great phone for someone who may be experienced with cell phones, it is too hard to use as a beginner phone. This should only be for the person who uses all the features, and is capable of figuring it out themselves.

The good: Expandable MicroSD slotStereo speakersMP3 Player and MP3 RingtonesThe bad: NoneSummary: The Samsung A920 is one awesome phone. I enjoy using it to hear my edited ringtones that are in mp3 quality and sound great through the speakers. The microSD slot is a plus and one can use the phone in multitasking as a MP3 player with a 1gb microSD chip if you so desired. An excellent phone that I would recommend all to try or have.

Simply love it!

Posted on: March 6th, 2006 by George Haxson

The good: *Sturdy and stylish flip that is easy to open*Speakerphone is great*Large displays with great color*No echos like my past Samsung phone*User friendly menu*I do get use out of the TransFlash slot*Last but not least, one of the most obvious great features, Bluetooth! The bad: Not as many ringtones as I am used to getting to choice from. Summary: As a Sprint customer for many years, I was so glad when Samsung introduced a great flip phone as an option. Finally, I was able to upgrade my services and get this great mobile with camera and Bluetooth, plus every other great feature you can imagine. Thanks!!
