Samsung

The good: Small, not clunky. Graphics are great. Its a good starter phone. Very stylish. Easy to move back and forth between icons in the menu screen. The bad: Very bad reception, cannot hear people when ur talking to them. No visible antenna on the phone itself. The battery that came with the phone will go dead on me in about 2 hrs worth of use. Also, the phone itself gets very very HOT while in use.Summary: All in all its an ok phone. I wouldnt recommend it unless they revamp it with a visible antenna on the phone for better reception.

The good: has a lot to offer. I especially like the buttons a lot, sometimes buttons are difficult to push without hitting other numbers, and this phone does not have that problem. The bad: The only thing I dislike is that it does not have an antenna that extends from the phone. Summary: This phone is great, it offers a lot of things from the camera to the physical appearance of the phone. it is a nice looking phone and is not too bulky or too small to talk into. The graphics are also great, they are crisp and clear and you can take pictures on the camera and store them as a slide show for people to view. it's a great phone.

Perfect for texting

Posted on: August 21st, 2006 by Greg Kita

The good: Nice button layout. Great feel for one or two handed typing.T9 pre text enabled. I love this feature. It makes it so much easier to type.Sleek fold design with sturdy build. The bad: Buttons themselves could be made of a sturdier material.Kind of short battery life.Summary: This phone is great. No real complaints here.I text a lot and it works out great. Like i said before, the layout of the buttons makes it very easy to text one handed or two.

No bells or whistles, but works good.

The good: I live out in San Francisco and do not have problems with this phone dropping calls which is a very important plus for me. The user interface is intuitive and the external LCD screen is such a great selling point. The speakerphone works really well and the camera is basic but good. The bad: Because of the design, I am not able to prop the phone up on my shoulder and talk very well. It is very unconfortable and I drop it often when trying to talk with out using my hands. (Good thing the speakerphone works well!!) Summary: This was my first upgrade after using the Motorola V180 for the past year. I enjoyed that phone, but this one has obvious advantages. If your easy to please and don't use the phone for more then talking, this phone is for you!
