Great Phone!

Posted on: May 23rd, 2008 by Samantha Smith

The good: big buttons, durableThe bad: key pad lockSummary: I've had this Samsung for about 2 1/2 years now. This phone is very good for texting, taking pictures, and video. I have dropped this phone many times on concrete and even gotton it wet a few but it is still working perfectly. The key pad lock button is on the side which means if you turn the key lock on, and put it in your pocket, it unlocks the key pad by itself. Using the side buttons it can: go to your recent calls, call someone on that list, and put it on speaker phone. This has happened to me many times while the phone is in my pocket. Overall, this is a good phone.

The love of my life!

Posted on: February 10th, 2008 by renee yaya

The good: extremely durable!!!!, very handsomeThe bad: side buttonsSummary: I've had this phone for about a year and a half and i love love love it! ive dropped it a million times and it still looks brand new! I've even dropped it in a puddle, left it on the wet grass all night. a few minor things. one is all the side buttons, I always accidentally press them in my pocket. so i put the lock on. also the camera quality is not good..but honetsly who cares! thats what a CAMERA is for!! The vibrate is very loud! especially in class!the voice dialing is very hard to use, she(the voice dialing response lady voice)always thinks i said a different name.In conclusion, this is a simple, very nice looking, feature filled phone for a well price!i recommend it!And to top it all off, you can set the dialing display to rainbow numbers! :D

One tuff unit!

Posted on: February 12th, 2007 by James Beal

The good: Extremely durable, Wonderful sound quality, easy to use menuThe bad: Side buttons poorly laid out, needs brighter display Summary: Im VERY hard on my phones. I manage an oil change facility so it gets busy and crowded. I have dropped my phone more times than I can count and it's still goin. Better than the LG I replaced. I use the speaker phone option quite a bit and Im impressed withy how loud and clear it is. On the downside however, the display can be rather hard to see in direct daylight. Also, I find myself often triggering the PTT function. The outer buttons need a better way of loking than what it has.

New SGH-D407

Posted on: October 30th, 2006 by Andrew Collings

The good: Very stylish, many features, The bad: Other party has trouble hearing you on speakerphone, outside buttons could have been designed betterSummary: Overall this is a great phone. It looks great, is very functional and has no major glitches or design errors. As with all phones there are some nitpicky things wrong with it like the external display being plain and trouble with the speaker phone.

Samsung SGH-D407 Pretty good phone

Posted on: October 18th, 2006 by Christie Crawford

The good: Camera with alot of different modes and options.Perfect size. The bad: Volume only goes up to 5 and it isn't very loud.Too many buttons on the side to bump.Summary: This is a pretty good phone overall. The camera works very well for as small as it is. The buttons are pretty easy to understand. The only problems I have had with it are: When someone calls you, most of the time their number shows up but not their name (If their name is already programmed into my phone). Also, I have taken a couple pictures by accidentally bumping the side button when I am on the phone.

This phone is durable

Posted on: September 5th, 2006 by James Luddy

The good: I have never been able to break it The bad: Not enough options in the phone Summary: I have had this phone for about three years and I have actually tried to break this phone by dropping it two stories to the ground and it still lives! I could not ask any more of this phone.
