Nice looking features

Posted on: November 18th, 2008 by James Watson

The good: Good camera, hmmm; The bad: Too many steps to get mid to fair product. Step, step, step, this, step, step, step, next, to call, text, photo, etc.Summary: I like to keep it simple. No way, plus bad voice broadcast. Samsung also always has trouble with battery life estimates. Too long.

The good: Sleek, Easy to use, the buttons for the numbers are really smooth. The bad: Battery runs out quickly. Voice quality could be a little better Summary: This phone is decent I dislike the battery life, i don't know how good the antenna inside the phone.. Ex. I fully charge it one night next morning turn it on it will be 1 bar left by night sometimes.

The good: Easy to useThe bad: Went through the washing machine because i forgot about itSummary: It all started when i was doing a bunch of house work around the house one fine afternoon. i then decided to take a shower. i got out of the shower, got changed and put my clothes in the washer. little did i know, my phone was still in my pocket and i did not realize it until it fell out of the washer. now it is broken and i hav to spend 200 dollars on a new phone!

Samsung Sync Stinks

Posted on: April 2nd, 2008 by Kevin Ryan

The good: Sound quality, battery life. The bad: Nothing is easy. It will push your frustration to the redline.Summary: I hate my Sync. Nothing is easily done, not even basic stuff. Every function requires too many keystrokes, as you drill down through arcane menus. This is my 6th phone, and I have never been more frustrated. Retrieving last calls, txt, and the camera all require multiple key strokes and menu selections. I think it was designed by someone who never used a phone before. If I could afford to, I would throw it in the ocean. I often let my friends try it out, and they also think it stinks.

My Cobalt Blue Sync

Posted on: January 28th, 2008 by K T

The good: It is a very sleek phone. The color is great but could be a little lighter. Can easily be customized. Expanded memory. Mp3 player. Good service quality in most places. The Samsung quality that you can expect. Many options when using the camera, and recording messages and sound. Nice key layout. The bad: Keys are really flat. The phone gathers fingerprints well. Battery life is okay. Outside keys are pretty pointless unless you use the Mp3 player a lot (but they make the phone more eye-catching). The new ringtones are not as lengthy.Summary: This is a great phone! In general, it has everything you need on a basic cell phone and more. The phone itself holds up great and will gain a few scratches on the way but does not break when you drop it one time. If you want to send a lot of text messages, this will do! Invest in a MicroSD card for extra memory for pictures and music, and enjoy your new Samsung Sync!It has definately proved better than my Moto Razrs and Rokrs!

Good phone but bad connector

Posted on: January 28th, 2008 by Steve Lyin

The good: speaker phone, MP3 playerThe bad: Samsung-only Unique connectorSummary: 1. Got the phone from AT&T. No data cable includes, therefore cannot do many good functions. I blame on AT&T, but Samsung should insist on AT&T to pack it in so that the users can enjoy full usage.2. (rather stupid) Samsung-only connectors for charging, data, and ear phone. May be Samsung believes single connector for all three (charge, data and ear phone) is a good design, but as a users, I suffer: I have to bring the unique m20-pin charger, whereas adapters with common household connector are readily available. I have to buy and use the (missing) m20-pin USB cable, where the standard USB/A to USB/B cable are readily available. Needly to said that I have to bring the Sumsung m20-pin mic/phone whereas a regular mic/phone is readily available. TO listen to the MP3 music, I have to use that Samsung mic/phone also. Hence, I wonder what this m20 buys the users?I guess someone in Samsung needs to take a look at the messy design (see http://pinouts.ru/CellularPhones-P-W/all_samsung_pinout.shtml ). If the pinout on this site is correct, just look at how many design in phone with 18-pin connector. In summary - I would not buy this phone or any Samsung phone again unless it use more common connectors.

I Like It

Posted on: January 21st, 2008 by S Thames

The good: Loud speaker volume, BluetoothThe bad: Menu set-up is awkwardSummary: I have hearing loss, but can hear well with this phone. I have enjoyed using the Bluetooth.Others have complained of dropped calls, but I believe that is a Network problem since I have yet to drop a call.It has a lot of features, but they're not easy to find on the menu. You have to figure out which category the feature you want to use is buried in.

Samsung Sync

Posted on: January 11th, 2008 by Casey Sullivan

The good: Loud music player, easy to text and navigate phone, easy to open with one hand, lots of featuresThe bad: the camera takes forever to take pictures and the service sucks. i have lost several calls. bad battery life-it dies every day and must be charged overnight.Summary: I overall like the phone itself and the features like music player with external touch keys. it sends texts very slowly which is annoying when u are talking to more than one person. the phone is slightly large but is still lightweight. the screen is huge which i like and it is very durable (i drop it alot).

Samsung A707 Sync

Posted on: November 28th, 2007 by Brandin Shost

The good: I love this phone. I have sent several pictures to my wife 2000 miles away. I am consulting for the year in Florida and only have the Samsung Sync as my one and only phone. Very user friendly and comfortable in your pocket. The bad: I wish there was a zoom on the camera. Summary: I would recommend this phone to anyone who is seeking a versatile phone that is very user friendly. It has been very reliable and does everything I wanted in a phone

Samsung SYNC

The good: Bright screen, cool look, cool touch screen music abilities, comes in red which is awesome, and for all of it's abilities its pretty cheap. The bad: No USB cabe in the box but seriously you probably have one laying around your house.Summary: I love it!! It was the perfect phone for me!!! Great camera, video, video share, it has aim and you can check your emails, it has internet, news, mp3 player, txt, everything!!! What isn't there to love. People may say that it has slippery controls but it rally doesnt anless you are like blind and need to feel the keys (no offence blind people, not that your'e reading this!!!) This is a great starter phone for people who are looking for a really good, cool, useable phone that doesn't cost a fortune and isn't too fancy.
