The Xperia E3 was released by Sony as a successor to the Xperia E1 model. Creating a more affordable device, however, Sony made sure to make the Xperia E3 competent enough to equal even its older brother. As evident in its large 4.5-inch IPS screen protected by a shatterproof glass, the Xperia E3 comes with a 480 x 854 resolution and 218ppi count. Underneath the surface, the Xperia E3 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 305 GPU. The software operates on Android 4.4.2 KitKat so it is compatible with just about any Android app or game. Its internal storage is 4GB, with an option to expand by up to 32GB using a microSD card. Sony has also equipped the Xperia E3 with a couple of cameras—a 5MP rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing sensor. The back camera is built with autofocus, LED flash and 1080p video recording. The phone comes with NFC and FM radio support. With a non-removable Li-Ion 2330mAh battery, the Xperia E3 can last up to 706 hours on standby mode and up to 12 hours of talk time. The Xperia E3 is available in white, black, yellow and copper colors.
