Verizon recently released the Ellipsis 8, which is the successor of the Ellipsis 7 tablet. Bearing the same characteristics as the Ellipsis 7, the new tablet promises to be available in an affordable price and be equipped with features that make for a functional tablet. First of all, the tablet comes with an 8.1-inch screen with 1280x800 HD quality display. This screen gives the tablet enough space for the graphics of the tablet to come alive. Powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, the Ellipsis 8 tablet has an internal storage capacity of 16GB but may still be upgraded through its microSD card slot. Additionally, the tablet has a SIM card slot, which enables direct connection through XLTE instead of relying on Wi-Fi or tethering. Thanks to its built-in 5,000mAh battery, the tablet is able to provide up to 14 hours continued use. The tablet also has two cameras that promise to provide its users with enough ability to capture selfies through its 5MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. At the time of purchase, the Ellipsis 8 tablet will run on Android KitKat 4.4. Its box comes with a wall charger, data cable, quick user guide, and a warranty brochure.
