AT&T Motorola Atrix HD

Hey there, Motorola Atrix HD owners, how about a little bit of good news to help make your Thanksgiving even better? According to a report from Android Central, the Atrix HD will soon have a new update enter testing, commonly referred to as a "soak test." A Motorola email says that owners of the Atrix HD are being invited "to participate in an early preview of a new software release, and provide feedback." Unfortunately for all of the Atrix HD folk out there, there's no mention of precisely what tweaks or improvements this new software might contain.

Last month, Motorola revealed its list of devices that will be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and the Atrix HD was one of the handsets that was included in that group. There's no way of knowing whether or not this soak test is for Jelly Bean until more details surface or the update actually begins rolling out to users, but at least Atrix owners know that they've got something new coming their way soon. We'll pass along more details on this update as soon as we get 'em.
