It's basically all but confirmed that HTC will be unveiling the Thunderbolt on January 6th, but if you need more evidence that the device's launch is drawing closer, we've got it for you. The SKU for the Thunderbolt, which also goes by the model number ADR6400, has just appeared in Verizon's systems, along with an SKU for the dummy unit. If all of the Thunderbolt leaks don't have you impressed, that mysterious 4G-ready Samsung SCH-i520 that leaked a couple of weeks back just showed up in Big Red's computers, too.
We've always kind of assumed that the Thunderbolt would be arriving sometime in the near future, but if this new leak is any indication, Samsung's LTE phone will be joining it sooner than many of us expected. Unfortunately, we don't know much about the SCH-i520 except that it runs TouchWiz and can access Verizon's 4G network. Now that we know that HTC and Samsung's LTE phones are arriving soon, you have to wonder if LG's Verizon 4G offering will be coming along shortly, too.
