Cingular Wireless

Posted on: October 17th, 2006 by Debbie Hawks

The good: Good service, lots of options, free phones with plan, free mobile to mobileThe bad: A little expensiveSummary: I like this service and have not had one dropped call since switching to it. I do think it is a little pricey but the service and having no dropped calls makes it a little more worth it. But I do wish they had a cheaper plan with more minutes.

The good: most problems where taken care of right away and was handled very nicely and professionlyThe bad: one problem took awhile to get taken care of, but it was eventuallySummary: For the most part am happy with the service. When I call they are usually very helpful and kind. Being older it takes me awhile to figure some things out and they are very patient about working with me

Limited coverage

Posted on: October 17th, 2006 by Aneva Crawley

The good: NoneThe bad: no service available in most areas, limited usageSummary: Cingular wireless service in pope county, arkansas is terrible. You never have service available. I live in northern part of the county and the cell phone service provided by Cingular is usless in this area. Anyone living in northern pope county should purchase alltel service, it is the only provider that actually have signal and works in this area. Cingular is useless.

The good: friendly staff many plans to choose from and minsThe bad: rollover mins are only good for 12 monthsSummary: I have been with cingular wireless for almost a year and havent had any problems with them. I dont have problems with dead zones within my area and they are easy to work with on problems that may arise. I have been happier with them then with any other company i have been with in the past

Cingular

Posted on: October 15th, 2006 by Cheryl Hellert

The good: I love the roll over plan. It works very well for us with child in college. I also can call to any where in the US at no extra charge. The bad: They have terrible service. Most of the time I do not have service on their plan. I renwewed a a two year contract with them only because of the cheap phone planI realize now that was a mistake and would cancel the plan but would cost me $600.Summary: I am considering switching to Verizon. Friends who have Verizon always have service when I don't with Cingular

False Advertisement

Posted on: October 14th, 2006 by Ashley Deaton

The good: They send you replacement phones. The bad: The phones break too easily, customer support could use improvement.Summary: The advertisement on tv says least dropped calls. WRONG .Almost every call I get or make drops. Whether it be "Network error" or just plain dropping the call so theres a silence and you keep talking then the phone rings in your ear because its the person calling you back. The worst part is, the 2 people I talk to most BOTH have cingular and each time I talk to them theres a 100% chance we'll lose the call.
