AT&T (formerly Cingular) introduced GoPhone in 2006 to give consumers the benefit of wireless phone service with no annual contracts, no credit checks, and no deposit requirements. GoPhone offers two programs: Pick Your Plan and Pay As You Go. With Pick Your Plan programs, you establish monthly automatic payments for service and use the balance on your account for voice minutes or other features. Pay As You Go allows for you to pay in advance for only what you need.

The good: No credit card check. No annual contract. Good coverage area. Rollover minutes/text messagingThe bad: 15 cents/min. no free nights/weekendsSummary: Overall, good service. Good customer service as well. Nice thing if you do not want to stay in the same area for a year.

The good: The reception is all right as long as you are in town.The bad: Head out of town on county roads, especially Co Rd 20 and Hwy 98 past Elberta and your reception is usually next to nothing or you drop your callSummary: Mostly cingular is a good service with good reception

The good: I love this carrier it makes my life simple and I never have wasted minutesThe bad: no consSummary: I bought my go - phone a few months ago and I love it..I can buy as many minutes as I want or use as few as I want. I almost never have a dropped call and my friends have cingular also. Basically the only time I use minutes is when we text message each other. Love this phone and love the carrier

Cell Phone Service. Who's Talking Now

The good: Can get service anywhere, even in my house which is not normalThe bad: They quarter you to death, they charge you for everything that you do on the phoneSummary: As I said it is a good service bit they charge for everything that you do. Sometimes it is hard to get refunds from them. But over all very good plan will stay for now.
