Dear YouTube viewers:
I love you. You guys are awesome. And thanks for giving the fish some love, too.
I don't check my YouTube Inbox that often, I must confess. But today I went through and picked out the most current/relevant/interesting of your questions to answer. Of course I'm answering them here in a blog so the whole world can read your Q's and my A's, too. And, you know, so you'll get in the habit of reading my blog.
Now then ...
On a scale of 1-10 how good is the juke on camera, music, memory space, and everything else? I was thinking of getting one on an enV (but that may be too much money) which is better juke or the enV? I like the way the juke spins and I definitely don't think it is like lipstick alright thanks

plush445: Scale of 1-10? Camera: 5, Music: 8, Memory Space: 8, Everything Else: 6. Which is better the Juke or the enV? I can't answer that, they're totally different devices. I can say this -- If you want a small, inexpensive phone with a good music player that can hold as much as an iPod shuffle, I really like Juke. It's small, it's simple, it works well, and if you like the way it spins then you'll think it's cool.
If you want a device with a good camera and expandable memory and you plan to do a lot of texting or much Web browsing at all, you'll probably get frustrated with Juke after a month or so. It's not meant to do much beyond phone calls and music playing. It takes pictures and sends texts, but the camera is only VGA and the screen is pretty small for reading and writing lots of SMS messages. You actually can't use it to access Verizon's VCAST Music store, either, because it doesn't do EV-DO (high speed) data.
If you're thinking about an enV, though, wait until the Voyager comes out later this month - it's basically the next-generation enV. I don't know how expensive it'll be, but if you shell out for an enV now you might be kicking yourself in a few weeks when Voyager drops. It's really cool, or at least promises to be. alright your welcome.
Check out Juke, Voyager, and VZW's two other "next" phones here:
now do you have to pay to use the navigation system i've looked but can's seem to find it?
Yes, you have to pay to use the VZ Navigator service on Juke or any other VZW handset. Right now the service costs $2.99 per day or $9.99 monthly. You can learn more about it here:
helio ocean vs the ihpone
which one should i get my dad is giving the potion of choosing my phone this year
clubmice,i hope your Dad is giving you options and not potions ... anyway, choosing which one is better really depends on what you want your phone to do, what you want it to look/feel like, and how good AT&T and Sprint's network is where you live (Helio runs on Sprint's network). You should go try them both out in person if you can - Ocean is smaller in terms of length and width but bulkier than iPhone ... iPhone doesn't have many buttons - you do all of your texting and dialing on the touchscreen ... the software is very different. You really have to try them out.
I've tried them both out and here's what I think:
Pros in favor of Ocean: Faster data speeds for Web and Music/Video streaming over your cellular connection; You can purchase music over your cellular connection; Real keypad is easier to type on than touchscreen; Great software if you use lots of different email and IM accounts; Mobile myspace application; Stereo Bluetooth support; Camera supports video recording; You can expand its storage via memory cards
Pros in favor of iPhone: Touchscreen is amazing; Larger screen is better for viewing photos, videos, and Websites; Built-in WiFi; Thinner than Ocean; iPod functionality is excellent; Web browser is excellent; More built-in storage for music, videos, and music
Hello i seen all your helio ocean Reviews and you got me so into it
i have a couple of questions
1. how do you connect the helio ocean (im only 14)
2. do you have to buy the sd card (dont really noe the name)
or does the helio ocean already come with it
3. does it come with the memory card!!!
please answer me as soon as possible i want to noe before i buy it
I asked my friends Courtney and Justin over at Helio to confirm these answers, so that's why it took me *so long* to answer you. sorry! but here's the 411:
1. How do you connect it? I don't know what that means. connect it to what, the network? Helio does that for you. connect it to a computer? you can use Bluetooth or the USB cable that Helio sends you.
2. The Ocean does not come with an sd card, but it does have 200MB of built-in memory. That's enough to store a few albums, a few short videos, and some photos. If you're going to use Ocean a lot for music and videos, you'll want to buy a microSD card. Don't worry, though, they're pretty cheap these days. Ocean supports microSD cards as large as 2GB in size. Make sure you get a microSD card and not one of others - SD and miniSD won't fit into Ocean's slot!
3. You already asked me that in #2!!! "SD" is a kind of memory -- so when people talk about an SD or miniSD or microSD card, they're talking about the memory card. It's totally confusing, I know, because all of the companies use different kinds of cards. But that may be changing soon ...
I really enjoyed the review you conducted with the Helio Ocean. It answered a lot of unanswered questions for me...But I had a couple more. I was wondering if the Helio Ocean could PLAY Google and Truveo videos? If you could find this out for me, it would be greatly appreciated....Thanks alot!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video, thanks! I asked Courtney and Justin this question, and they confirmed that Ocean CANNOT play Google and Truveo videos. But, as Justin pointed out, Ocean can play YouTube videos and Google now owns YouTube, so you probably won't see much from Google Video anymore ... they're putting their efforts behind YouTube instead because so many people already use it.
Alright, I'm tired now. Keep watching the videos and keep asking the questions and maybe Santa will bring you a dictionary this December, ROTFLMAO!!! Just kidding ... keep the questions coming!
