Just moments ago, HTC and Sprint took the stage here in New York to announce their latest "collaboration." We had a pretty good idea of what to expect as we entered the event, and our expectations were met, although the name of the phone caught of off guard. Instead of the HTC EVO One, HTC and Sprint announced the HTC EVO 4G LTE. Its specifications include a 4.7-inch 720p Super LCD display, 8-megapixel f/2.0 ImageSense camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 chip, NFC, 1GB RAM, Beats Audio (both hardware and system-wide software). Lastly, the device features a non-removable 2,000mAh battery.
All I have to say is I'm honestly taken aback by this phone. I wasn't very interested in the leaks and rumors. But after getting a little hands-on with it, I have to say I am thoroughly impressed! Time will tell if this is the device to have!
The HTC EVO 4G LTE will be available for $199.99 in the second quarter and pre-orders for the device begin May 7th. Check out the gallery below for a better look at the HTC EVO 4G LTE! Also, give us your thoughts on the device in the comments below!
