HTC's new Android world phone leaks, may hit Verizon in 2011

The onslaught of new Android devices continues today, but this new handset is a little more special than the others. Photos of a supposed HTC Android phone headed to Verizon leaked recently, but this phone is sporting both a sliding QWERTY keyboard and the ability to run on both CDMA and GSM networks. The device, which doesn't have any sort of codename just yet, has Verizon branding and packs a Vodafone SIM card. Specs for the handset include a 4-inch screen, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, and possibly a 1.2 GHz processor. Not much else is known about the phone just yet, but AndroidGuys believes that we'll be seeing it land on Verizon in 2011.
This new HTC device definitely looks like it has the potential to be a huge hit. Running on Verizon's network, it sports several pieces of hardware that Android fans have been drooling over lately. It packs a 4-inch screen, which seems to be the new sweet spot when it comes to Android devices, as well as a hardware QWERTY keyboard, which is still a rarity. The possibility of a 1.2 GHz processor is just icing on the cake. After seeing specs and photos of this Android superphone, all I have to say is "What Verizon iPhone?"
