Samsung Illusion render leaks again, phone still not official

Earlier this month we were treated to our first peek at the Samsung Illusion, but since that image was kind of small it was tough to really get a feel for the device. Thankfully that changes today, and what's better is that this image comes from a much more official source: Samsung. The Korean company just posted up a render of the Illusion on its Flickr account and, although there aren't a ton of details to sink our teeth into, the description of the image does offer up a couple of bits of info. For example, the Illusion's SCH-I110 model number has been confirmed. The Illusion is also said to be a "green" device.
Expectations for the Samsung Illusion are that it'll slot into the low-end of Verizon's Android lineup when it launches. The good news is that the rumor mill has claimed that the Illusion could be packing Android 2.3 Gingerbread beneath its TouchWiz skin once it does arrive, which is something that some of Samsung's other, more high-end handsets don't have yet. So hey, at least there's that.
