Nokia Lumia 928 black white official

Jonesing for another look at the Nokia Lumia 928? Nokia is apparently more than happy oblige, as the company has put up another teaser for its Verizon-bound Windows Phone. After sharing a video this morning that pitted the Lumia 928 against the Samsung Galaxy S III and Apple iPhone 5 in a video capture test, Nokia has put the Lumia 928 and the Galaxy S III head-to-head in an audio recording battle.

In this latest test, the Lumia 928 and Galaxy S III were placed directly in front of a live band to record their performance. Once again, the Lumia 928 came out on top, producing audio of the music that is clear and undistorted, while the Galaxy S III's audio comes across as louder and less clear. The full video of the test can be found at the bottom of this post.

Nokia has also posted a new image of the Lumia 928 with tonight's audio test. The renders show one black Lumia 928 and one white Lumia 928, just like the image that we saw earlier today, but this time we're treated to a look at the white Lumia 928's backside. The handset's PureView-branded camera is easily visible, as is its xenon and LED flashes.

The Lumia 928 has leaked several times in recent months, but it was only yesterday that Nokia actually confirmed the handset's existence for the first time. Since then, the Finnish firm has given us a couple of different peeks at the phone itself and revealed that it features an 8.7-megapixel PureView camera. The remainder of the Lumia 928's spec sheet is a mystery for now, but with all of the teasing that Nokia's been doing lately, an official announcement of the phone and its features shouldn't be too far off.

Lenn Liggins Looks like it's going to be a fantastic phone. Not worried about the haters, because that's what they do.
Christopher Williams
Christopher Williams I'm saying they should have continued to develope it. Plus, Windows Phone 8 has no apps either. Perhaps that's why it's struggling to catch on.
Ezekiel Carsella

Brandon Johnson
Brandon Johnson Seeing as the iphone and the One have taken better pics than the S4 in some of the tests reviewers have done, I can't see how tech blogs can compare most of the newer phone cameras to each other but Nokia cannot. It makes them look bad in my opinion.
Dee Ross
Dee Ross Also wondering why PhoneDog isn't pointing out that obvious discrepancy.
Vicente Reyes
Vicente Reyes Brandon, maybe they will do that when the new official Nokia device comes out, also the windows os mobile is one of the best, only thing it lacks is the amount of apps that the app store has on it, but that's changing fast with all the new apps coming.
Sambo Chao
Sambo Chao I want one but I can't, I'm on sprint sero.
Brandon Johnson
Brandon Johnson The iphone I understand, but they need to upgrade to the S4 since it is available now.
Brandon Johnson
Brandon Johnson Why are they still comparing it to the S3....
Raul Weisser
Raul Weisser No
Brandon Holley
Brandon Holley it peaks my interest, but not enough to leave android until I have one in my hand to play with.
Christopher Williams
Christopher Williams Nokia always has the best hardware, but is always crippled by it's Windows software. It's a shame thi device couldn't be running Meego!
