Remember the ASUS PadFone X? AT&T announced this phone-tablet duo back at CES and shared a few spec details with us, but since then it's remained silent on the matter. Today the big blue carrier broke its silence, though, sharing the full spec list for the upcoming phone and tablet dock combo. Here's the breakdown on the PadFone X's phone and tablet station:

  • PadFone: 5-inch 1080p display, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 13-megapixel Pixel Master rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, 2300mAh battery, Android 4.4 KitKat
  • PadFone Station: 9-inch 1920x1200 screen, 1-megapixel front-facing camera, 4990mAh battery

ASUS has released a few generations of PadFone hardware, but so far none of them have made their way onto a U.S. carrier. It's nice to see that that's finally changing with the PadFone X, and it'll be interesting to see how consumers react to the phone-tablet dock device when it launches. There's still no word on when that'll happen or how much the X will cost at launch, but AT&T says that we should "stay tuned" for availability information.

Now that we know exactly what makes the ASUS PadFone X tick, what do you think of the device?
